The Church imaged as Pilgrim People

The Church imaged as Pilgrim People
A Pilgrim is a person that journeys to find a holy place.
There are many reasons that people go to a pilgrimage….
To find a new place, safer place.
To feel what it was like when the Holy People set foot on these places.
To know how Jesus grew(depending on the place you have chosen).
To find a Holy Place.
The places they choose to go to are….
Holy Places, special places: Mountains, Temples, Holy Cities, Holy Sites: Calvary, Vatican City, Bethlehem,Colosseum of Rome.

The Vatican City is the place of our Pope, Pope Francis. I want to feel what it's like to meet the Pope in person. I also want to feel what it's like to be in the crowd where they watch Pope Francis preach on his balcony.

Yip Kai Man Biography

Yip Man Biography- by Xyril Millado

Image result for yip manYip Man, Ip Man or Ip Kai Man, was a Wing Chun Master and the teacher of Bruce Lee. He was a father of 2 sons and 2 daughters. His sons ended up to continue his work.

Yip Man was born on October 1, 1893, in Foshan, China. He was raised by his wealthy parents, being the third child in his family. He had quite an unpleasant early life since his parents were busy with work. He had to participate in whatever they do, but he did get to have traditional studying. Yip Man was allowed to study and practice Wing Chun under Chan Wah Shun at the age of 12. Wah Shun then died after 3 years of teaching Man.

When he was 15, Man moved to Hong Kong to study at St. Stephen's College. With his studies in the way, he still had time for training. After 9 years, he returned to Foshan and was employed as a police officer. In the 9 years time training for Wing Chun, he was ready to teach the art.

At the age of 56, he again fled back to Hong Kong when the Chinese Communist Party took over. He opened a Wing Chun School there and was announced the first martial artist to teach publicly and the Grandmaster of Wing Chun. The now deceased Bruce Lee was his best student. He started to train with him when he was 13.

Yip Man was married to Cheung Wing Ching until 1960 and had two sons that are both Wing Chun Masters right now. There isn't that much information on his daughters, Yip Ar Sum and Yip Ar Woon. His death took place on December 2, 1972, ending his suffering from cancer. After his death, movies about him were made such as the Ip Man trilogy, Ip Man: The Legend is Born, Grandmaster and the Ip Man: The Final Fight.

In Foshan, when the city was invaded by the Japanese, he fought the general of the invaders and won, but was shot on the shoulder because of his victory. Man, with his modified Wing Chun, saved his people multiple times. He is a man to be remembered and whose work is to be handed out.

The Water Cycle

How Is The Water Cycle Processed?

The water cycle is the cycle that doesn't stop in the world. It's like a hamster that never dies or gets tired running on a hamster wheel. But it's getting way too much because of the greenhouse effect and global warming. Here is how it works...

The first process of the cycle is the evaporation. It is when the heat from the Sun gets to the surface of the sea. Because of that it becomes steam, followed by water vapour. This happens like a water bottle with water only halfway to the top. When left out in the Sun it then warms up when taken back. You might also see steam rising up. That is Evaporation, warming up. Then the next one, Condensation.

The Condensation process is when the water molecules ascends to the clouds and make liquid inside them. Again, with the bottle in the Sun process, after it heats up the steam goes to the top of the bottle and eventually, makes water, again. By observing closely, you would see the newly made water dripping down slowly, until it's together with the warm water on the bottom of the bottle. This process is called Condensation, recycling water.

Finally Precipitation, rain. After the Condensation process, that's when the rain comes down, that's also when the water in the bottle starts dripping. After this process, the cycle starts over once again. During the rain, the cloud the got Condensed gets blown somewhere high, like a mountain and later on, the Collection process happens. That's when the rain continues and stops, making a tiny stream on the mountain that flows back to the sea or the ground for some plants to use or villages. Then the cycle starts over, and over again.

The water cycle is the cycle that doesn't stop in the world. It's like a hamster that never dies or gets tired running on the hamster wheel. It's also a water bottle with water only halfway to the top, left out in the Sun and warm when taken back.
